Kings Park Library

A little dark & dusty, like they need better windows and could use a refresh. Great selection of new books, especially kids. Overall, a great library trip on the home from the obstacle course park.

It’s awful to have people watch you every couple minutes in the last 30 minutes before closing. And actually one of the staff got so impatient came over to tell me ‘it’s closing’ before there was ten minutes left. I guess when you just don’t have much work to do, watch other people closely become a more important job.

For over a decade whenever I'm in town I stop by this library. Easy parking, plenty of seating options, good opening hours (compared to Southern California small libraries which seem to close so early).

Clean and cozy environment, perfect for reading, and a great place to enjoy activities.I really enjoyed my time here and would love to come back. Librarian is very kind to helping me find a book I am looking for. Thank you Jeanne!

I had a very upsetting experience at your location today around 5:55 PM. My disabled brother and I were already inside the library when he urgently needed to use the restroom due to a bladder condition. I asked for the restroom to be opened, but the assistant manager refused and insisted I listen to the store’s code of conduct first. I explained several times that my brother was about to have an accident, but she continued to delay. After going back and forth, she finally opened the door, but by then he was extremely distressed. Throughout the interaction, she tried to make it seem like I was being unreasonable, which felt like gaslighting. This was not only a frustrating situation but also extremely disrespectful to someone with a visible medical need. I truly hope this is addressed so
