King Katsu Land

Best katsu I ever ate in Bay Area! This place was reccomended to me by my friends but now I will be the one reccomending it to everyone I know. We came on a Saturday after lunch time and signed up on the waiting list and did not have to wait long. From the moment we stepped in, we knew it will be a great meal: we saw huge portions on everyone's plates around us, the waitress was super nice and helped me choose between two menu items by explaining the difference between them, and the menu was pretty unique, it was printed on a place mat and not paper. We were also given miso soup which we did not expect but it was a nice touch. Once we ordered the food, it came our super fast and it was delicious!! I don't think I can explain in words how much we enjoyed the meal, how tasty everything was.

This place is exactly like what we had in Seoul but I believe the portion size of the katsu is bigger. Great selection of katsu. We shared a combo which had half portions of pork , fish and a burger with a fried egg. Perfectly prepared. Reminded me of our experience in Seoul. I need to try the korean fried chicken as well next visit. Service was excellent. Very nice and friendly.

This restaurant popped up on Google and we decided to give it a try. One ordered the King Katsu with curry. The rest had fish katsu with rice, sweet tartar sauce, cabbage salad and macaroni salad. It was all delish. I would recommend this place and will go back to try other items. This is a simple place with plastic chairs and friendly waitstaff. This is a GO! 11/19/25

Generous portion with great prices! Staff was friendly and offered great services. I had a fantastic experience here! If you’re a fan of katsu, this place is a must-visit. They offer a great variety of katsu options, each fried to a perfect golden-brown crunch and served with sauces. We also ordered the udon and the portion was generous filled with many fish cakes. I really enjoyed the dining experience.

Staff was so nice and friendly, the portion size were enormous. My friends got the king katsu and I got the king's combo. On top of that, we ordered the butter garlic wings. Very delicious. We were so stuffed. A couple things I gotta say is; the curry is a bit too sweet for my taste and the Mac salad needed more dressing to make it creamy and nlt dry. Other than that, still a great place for katsu.
