Kilwins Ice Cream - Chocolate - Fudge

Ice creams were good and the fudge was nice and fudgy. However, the staff seemed a bit uninterested in talking to customers, which made the experience less enjoyable. Felt like we were treated a bit poorly. Prices are also quite high for the quality offered. Overall, decent ice cream but not worth the cost or service.

So happy to have a Kilwins in our neighborhood. Freshly made ice cream, fudge, chocolates, and taffy apples, and yes, you have to try them all! Friendly staff and happy to see seating areas outside.

Good vibes. Glad it’s open. Got around 6 items. Most were good but the Carmel covered rice crispy was hard as a rock. Not sure if it was on the shelf for days or just over cooked but it truly hurt my teeth when I attempted to take a bite out of it. I tossed it out. I know these can be cooked and be soft cause I’ve had it at other locations cooked to perfection. I will give it another shot and update this from 4 to 5 stars if they will just check the hard or staleness in the morning of some of the larger more expensive selections. Tip: you can just pick up the rice crispy Carmel by the stick and tap it on a plate. If it goes clink clink clink, please throw it out before someone loses a tooth. Thank you :)

Love love love Kilwins. Thanks so much for coming to the neighborhood. Went last night and loved the toasted coconut ice cream. Hope to see Traverse City cherry at some point as I always get that flavor when in Michigan. Can’t wait to be back. Only suggestion is to get seating outside. People were looking for seating with their ice cream and started using the tables and chairs from both the Mexican restaurant and wine bar next door.

I love Kilwins but really, who designed the store where everyone is packed between the ice cream counter and the wall, squeezing through people to choose a flavor, while the rest of the store is wide open! We really wanted to get some ice cream but the narrow, packed area made us turn around and walk out. 😞
