We walked in at around 12:30 and it was packed. They said it was a 25 minute wait, but we decided to wait. It was a great decision. We were seated and our waitress the lovely Vivian came and promptly took our orders. Havarti Hash was amazing. The Havarti paired really well with the peppers. The Saganaki (completely forgot to take a picture 😭) was tasty, but it may have been better if it was a little smoked. What stole my heart was the Feta fries. Despite being feta, it tasted creamier than normal feta cheese. Once we were finished with the main course we got the Date Ricotta French Toast and the Baklava French Toast were next to be ordered. Both desserts hit the sweet tooth well and were really well received. The food ended up being a little on the pricier side, but you could tell the
Brunching at Elia’s Café never disappoints 🤍 Not our first time here and definitely won’t be our last. The food, the ambience, the staff, and the owner…everything is always on point. We had Wagyu & eggs, Hashed skillet with wagyu, plus a few other dishes and WOW… so flavorful and perfectly done. If you haven’t been yet, put this spot on your list. So good every single time!!
5/5 – Worth the trip from O’Hare and then some I was in Chicago for a work trip and a staff member at my hotel near O’Hare recommended Eliá Café in Park Ridge. Best tip of the whole trip. I ordered a cinnamon latte, the “First Date” latte, the Elia Stacks with pistachio sauce, and the Baklava French Toast. Everything was fantastic – the lattes were perfectly balanced, the pancakes with pistachio anglaise were rich without being heavy, and the baklava french toast was one of the best brunch dishes I’ve ever had. I even grabbed two of their fresh juices to go and those were excellent too. Service was amazing from start to finish. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and one of the owners/managers stopped by our table to check on us and genuinely made us feel like family. The space is cozy,
It was our first time visiting this café. We arrived around 11:30 and even though it was already quite busy, we didn’t have to wait long for a table. After we sat down, even more people started coming in, so it felt like we got lucky with our timing. There were three of us and we each ordered one dish. Surprisingly, that was more than enough and we all felt satisfied. We made sure to leave a little room for dessert, because we couldn’t resist trying the crêpes with Nutella. The Nutella turned out to be a bit too runny, but the dessert was still very tasty. I think I would choose the pistachio filling next time, since it has a creamier texture. The crêpes themselves were absolutely delicious and definitely worth ordering. We also had three lattes and they were really good. I’ll share the
I was out of the country when this spot opened and I finally was able to stop by the other day for brunch. I ordered a fig frittata and a mango ginger orange juice. My homie ordered a hash skillet which also looked delicious. The staff was hella nice and the wait on a Saturday morning wasn’t too long. They brought us some loukoumades as a treat, and ohhh man they were so perfectly cooked. We also got a pistachio latte (iced) and a freddo cappuccino which tasted like Greece. I’ll definitely be back to try more things!
