Kiku Sushi & Hibachi

Wow, this place was unreal. The place was spotless- it was so clean. The portions were HUGE, and the prices matched it well. Those crab rangoons were life changing, sushi was amazing, and the hibachi was so good and came with not only rice but a side salad and pork gyoza. Staff was super friendly, brought us our food packed up with a bag to go as well. Best place ever.

I really wanted sushi but didn't want to go far. Lo, maps showed me a new place right around the corner! Reviews looked good, (some ppl should be ashamed of themselves) I perused the menu and decided on the sushi sashimi combo#1, for pickup. Beautifully presented with a small iceberg side salad and the most interesting dressing. The platter had a generous portion of the most sinus clearing wasabi I've had in a while. Excellent. A very generous helping of pickled ginger that was a fresh and spicy delight. I tucked into the rolls to check out the rice. Wonderfully soft and sticky. Not a dried our kernel to be found, yummy. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place is run with genuine care and passion. The restaurant is spotless. The sushi is absolutely delish and incredibly fresh. You can tell this is a true family operation, and that warmth comes through in the service and the food. It's clear they take pride in what they do. If you're looking for authentic, fresh sushi I highly recommend supporting this local gem. They deserve your business!

I loved the decoration. It's a small building, but the atmosphere very quiet and peaceful. The paintings and one of the back walls looks beautiful. The staff is super kind and the food is AMAZING! The prices really aren't bad, especially considering how expensive fish can be. The quality is 10/10 as well. The avocados tasted especially great.

I’ve been a regular customer here (9-10 visits), but after yesterday I’ll never return. I ordered the Manhattan Special Roll and on my last bite, I found a huge staple stuck between my teeth and gums. This could have easily ended up in my throat. When I called the restaurant, they lied and said the manager wasn’t there, even though I had just seen the father (owner) making my sushi. They even had a child at the register repeat the lie, and they kept sending my calls to voicemail. I had to drive back with the sushi and staple to show them in person before they finally gave me a refund. The food safety issue was bad enough, but the dishonesty, lack of accountability, and teaching a child to lie is worse. I was a loyal customer, but I will never be back.
