Carrubba's Chicken Pit

This is a cool little BBQ place located in the Cheektowaga/Depew area. The food was very good. I went there for lunch and had the pulled pork sandwich with 2 sides. The pork was seasoned well and their BBQ sauce was excellent. My sides were Cajun corn and baked beans. Both of them were tasty. The woman running the counter was friendly and gave good service. Their menu has a lot of other options but it wasn't too big which can cause confusion or indecisiveness. I would definitely go back to try other items like the chicken, ribs, Nashville chicken sandwich, freshly made fries and chips. They do have a small dining room if you want to eat your meal there. The place is nicely designed. They also have catering available! I'd give this place a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

Amazing food!! Biggest and best fish fry I've ever had. Not greasy, outside is so crispy! Just perfect. Loaded fries were great; nacho cheese had a little kick which was as excellent. Pulled pork was also excellent. And very friendly staff.

If you want a complete experiance of a fantastic fish fry look no further, Carrubas puts out a fantastic battered fish, and their sides are top notch, from the house cut fries, to the best coleslaw in the game! Mac salad is top tier also. Tip five fish fry in WNY !

Food was great, huge portions, friendly and fast service

Usually in the area when they're not open but finally got to stop by for lunch. Service was fast and friendly. Food was fresh and came out quick. The nashville hot chicken sandwich was fantastic. The carrubbas chips and mac salad were great as well. Ill definitely be back
