Khan's Grill

Love the idea you choose your ingredients and they cook it for you. I been going to Khans since they first opened in Mcallen across the movie theater! The food and veggies are always fresh! Thier prices have gone up but way worth it.

Make sure to check your receipt before they charge you. They do double charge so make sure you know what you're paying for. All they will offer is a "free plate" (that's already paid for but they say free to take away from the issue). All the girls do is bring you drinks and fortune cookies, I don't know why it's so hard to just charge right.

I left this place feeling genuinely upset. I was charged for double meat and double vegetables, yet my portions were noticeably smaller than another customer’s—someone who received a huge serving without any extra charges. Watching that happen right in front of me made me feel singled out and completely dismissed. When I asked the cashier, she just said there was nothing she could do because “the cooks called it out.” No customer should ever feel treated differently or unfairly. The inconsistency in service and pricing made me feel singled out, and unfortunately, this experience has left me unwilling to return or recommend this restaurant.

First time at a Mongolian restaurant. The food to be prepared was really fresh and great variety. You'll find vegetables, pasta, and noodles, meat, spices. The cooks are moving fast, while they have other sauces and instructions on the counters to choose from. Since it was my first time I stayed simple spices and teriyaki but the have other hot spices. Then there is white or fried rice, an attendant helps you to your table and she brings your food. The food was delish and the meat well cooked and great taste.

Unfortunately do not have photos of the food, but my fiancé and I had a good experience at this Khans location. Food was delicious and service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere wasn’t bad by any means, however it wasn’t anything too special either? It was a little warm inside, but what can we expect with a huge grill next to the tables. Overall, the experience was good and I would definitely eat here again for the food quality alone.
