Key West Shaved Ice Cream

The family needed a sweet treat after dinner. Commence giant teddy and the promise of free samples. The family got ice cream and this lady got shaved ice. It hit the spot and transported me to the island life. The employee was helpful and patient. Definitely recommend.

My wife and her family were in Singer Island for a week long vacation. We stopped here before getting to the airport to head back to the -1° weather of Ohio… Would not recommend this place enough! Richard treats all of us customers with respect and loves casual conversation. He let us sample as many flavors as we wanted, and he even let me mother-in-law mix 3 flavors because she couldn’t decide between the final two. Price is very affordable at $8.00 per cup or cone (two flavors). I would highly recommend to all locals and those traveling in the area!

Nice guy who runs the place and has been here for 8 years. Home made ice cream that he learned from a friend. The building and seating options let it down a little. But that's like having a Porsche in bright pink.

Listen listen, this place is very tasty, and 1/2 the price of the ice cream just down the street. We had ice cream and shaved ice. A waffle cone with ice cream was $6. We had homemade peanut butter ice cream. The homemade black cherry. The multi flavor shaved ice. The place down the street wants 12 - 13 bucks for a cone or milkshake. No thanks. I'm not local and have no affiliation with either business.

I had planned to visit Key West Shaved Ice sooner. I'm glad I finally did. We ordered shaved ice and ice cream. The flavors were made in-house. I choose banana and chocolate chip in a cone. I really enjoyed it, and my niece did, too. The lady at the counter is super sweet and nice. She entertained and played games with my niece. My niece was sad to leave. We will definitely have to revisit during the summer season.
