We really like the Mocksville location for desserts and salads, but have not been to Clemmons. We simply wanted a sourdough bread for the grilled cheese kids meal. We were refused the sourdough, and charged the price of an adult meal instead for the same food. I even offered to pay a small up charge for the sourdough and was refused. The menu doesn’t indicate anywhere that the bread cannot be chosen, and in fact, lists the entire bread options above the kids meal. It’s a deli with bread choices, so choices for children should be allowed. I don’t understand the refusal. It was all young staff simply just hanging around chatting with only one young lady at the register trying to be helpful. Stopped in to get some drinks. Alyshia took care our order. She was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! I ordered the Mexican Mocha. Wow! Great spicy heat flavor!!! It was DELICIOUS!!! My daughter got the Berry Protein Smoothie. She really enjoyed it. Besides the drinks, they also have great food as well. They also have local products to purchase! Looking forward to coming back!

The younger staff members need to work on their customer service. Instead of talking to each other, they should engage with the customers waiting to buy something from the glass case. Please do better.

Today I had the delicious kale salad and the chicken pie for lunch. The chicken pie was a disappointment because the chicken seemed to be missing among the gravy and crust. Everything I have had previously in this location has been of much better quality.
