Keoni’s Express

I am sooo glad that I saw and found this place!! The food was abso-freakin-lutely amazing!! I can't wait until I'm near this area again to get more of Kioni's! I was visiting the area but I wish I had something like this near me. I tried the salmon, shrimp, mac n cheese, and red rice; along with the wings and fries. I honestly cannot say enough about the mac n cheese 😋🙌🏼 , but truthfully, everything was delicious, hot and fresh. There are very busy but that didn't stop them from giving great customer service and great quality food. You order, pay and get handed a buzzer to let you know when your order's ready. I found that convenient if you choose to sit outside in your car.

I was excited to try this place for the first time. Once arrived we ordered 2 different plates. With tax came out to be $57.xx. I don't have a problem paying for quality food, but this wasn't it for me. You get large serving sizes, but it's the taste for me. The red rice and Mac cheese IMO was bland / sweet. The chicken was ok. The blackened salmon wasn't overly seasoned and it was moist. The broccoli was seasoned nicely.

We drove 2 hours to experience Keoni's Express. Lemme tell you it was worth the drive and more. The food was amazing!

My husband and I just left Keoni’s Express, the new fast food spot tucked inside the BP station, and we were seriously impressed. I ordered the Gullah chicken with shrimp and red rice, and he went for the Gullah chicken with mac & cheese. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and seasoned just right. That drizzle sauce ties it all together! So make sure you ask for extra when you go. 🤩

It's basically southern flare soul food sold in a gas station. Yes, a gas station. First off. Be prepared to wait especially if you go between the hours of 11am to 1pm. They were so crowded. It was so many people waiting but I've been wanting to try this place for a while. The food was good but a bit high seasoned for my liking but the broccoli is really good. We tried the wings, smack and cheese and the meat with two sides. Go try it for yourself like we did.
