Walking into the restaurant, I was not greeted by the front-end staff. I ordered the catfish, which was good flavorful and not greasy. However, it felt a bit overpriced for a single piece of fish. The volume for the amount of money that was paid did not match the price Overall, the food good

On another day, this place may get a higher review. Food was good, service was good however the cook forgot about one of our orders so the last order came out when the others were done eating. They kindly compensated for this meal. Overall, the wait service was good, but the wait for the food was very long. Not sure what's going on with the smell in the restaurant...it smelled similar to a porta potty while seated at the front of the restaurant away from the restroom?

What a great surprise! My family really enjoyed the food here. We ordered Catfish, butterfly shrimp, crab cakes, trout and scallops. We loved them all! Especially the crab cakes! We definitely will be coming back to order other things on the menu! (Gizzards!) **EDIT - we came back and tried the Gizzards! Did not disappoint! The CORNBREAD is also a big hit! Definitely will come back for more Cornbread next time.

The best dinner during our three-week vacation Found it by chance on Google. Since it's tucked away inconspicuously in the shopping district, we would have definitely driven past it without Google. Great restaurant with awesome home-style cooking. It feels like grandma is still in the kitchen cooking herself! We had burgers and various sandwiches with fries. Everything was superbly prepared and very tasty. All the food arrived at the table at the same time and hot. Our waitress was super attentive and also helped and advised us on our choice of dishes. All our questions were answered immediately. This is not to be missed! Be sure to stop by if you're ever in the area! We hope the restaurant will be around for a long time to come! Top notch!

YUMMMM!!! We happened upon this place 4 or so years ago and always said if we were back here there were a must re visit! We were so happy to find they were just as good as our 1st visit. The fried chicken of course is stellar but today I had turkey wings. They tasted like somebody's grandma was back there just loving on the pans. The surprise were the hush puppies. Wow, wow, wow. What a great lunch. Thanks for the send off back to Philly.😎
