KC's Crabs & Cues

Better than basic bar/pub offerings. Some things were overcooked a bit, but we enjoyed the meal overall. Friendly atmosphere and worth stopping to grab some grub if you are in the area!

We've been wanting to try this place for a while now. Finally got a chance to do so tonight. The service was alright, alittle slow- But nothing horrendous. The food was definitely not worth the price and the online menu is different from what you can order inside. The atmosphere was kind of "non existent". We could hear everyone's conversations because it was dead quiet, no music, no TV audio. Just felt ...weird, not like your typical bar atmosphere. Atleast not when we came. The food was half good , half not. The fries were clearly old and had been sitting in the heat lamp forever and were over cooked in the first place. The burger and sandwich we got were cooked perfectly. Had to find my server to pay, but again, it seems they weren't fully staffed quite yet as we had came in shortly aft

Restaurant was very understaffed and food took forever. Most everything was just ok, expected much more for $25 plates. Fried fish and shrimp not so good, just tasted like the oil, not good flavor. Shrimp cocktail had one shrimp not properly cleaned. Blue Cheese burger was awesome and earned the fourth star.

All of the restaurants in Irvington were totally full and we were looking for a place that’s casual with great seafood. We found just that at KC’s. Now we didn’t take part in the pool- but there were a ton of people playing. It’s nice because they have an adjoining room where you can eat and get away from the pool scene if you needed. We were good for all of it. I did feel badly for the staff. Almost all of the tables were dirty so you can tell that not only were they short staffed, but they had gotten slammed just a bit before we got there!

KC's Crabs & Cues consistently has the best seafood around. Love their streamed shrimp and hush puppies. Always satisfied.
