All the rave reviews and stellar write ups of this spot are all too subtle & under whelming compared to actually going there! This is a real-deal gem of a spot. The parking is a bit wonky and the dining area is tight & tiny, but all of that is well worth the pilgrimage to the top of the mountain for what you receive. What you receive (or actually what we received) was an amazing staff, wonderful people around you, and absolutely divine food from the cook team. I can not say how much I enjoyed this and am drooling thinking of returning. Based on the advice of my bank teller down the street (thanks, Tanya!) I went with the tuna sandwich and she-crab soup. We found our way here for breakfast while visiting the area and then went again the next day for lunch. The place is small but constantly busy. Cute and sunny decor with superb service! Everyone is so nice and they all go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We've never seen a staff work together so seamlessly. Lots of locals come through for breakfast or lunch. Wen didn't have to wait for a a seat but if you do, it's definitely worth the wait! We'll be back on our next vacation for sure 🥰

I had a really good experience coming here and the staff was very sweet with me. I met the owner and what a sweetheart! She was the one who made the first carwash available in Kilmarnock. Wash your car here before or after and then enjoy your meal. Carrot cake was phenomenal.

10/10 great local place with a fun twist with the car wash. Inside feels cozy and the staff is friendly and fun. Best grits I've ever had - definitely get the carrot cake for dessert.

Car Wash Cafe did a great job catering our party. Communication was good, the food was wonderful as well l as wonderfully displayed. The servers that stayed were amazing. I highly recommend using their catering services as well as eating at the Cafe.
