Kayo's Ramen

All of the food we had was delicious! The staff was super friendly! I took Andy's recommendation of what Ramen to try and it did not disappoint. The mole taco is a must try! My kids loved the sticky rice, kid's ramen and pot stickers. Andy was very attentive and I felt welcomed bringing in my young toddlers. We'll definitely be back and we're looking forward to it.

Our first time here and we are thrilled to have stumble upon this gem. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was delish! We had the pork potstickers, Tan Tan ramen and the Island Chicken rice bowl. Finished with the famous bisque cheesecake. The cheesecake was so light and even-like no other cheesecake I’ve tried before.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 If you’re craving authentic ramen in Portland, Kayo’s Slurp Ramen is a must-try! 🍜 The broth was rich, deep, and full of umami — you can tell it’s been simmered for hours. The noodles had that perfect chewy bite, and the chashu was tender and flavorful. The atmosphere feels cozy and welcoming, perfect for a cold day or a casual lunch. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I especially loved the spicy miso ramen — balanced heat and bold flavor! Portland has plenty of ramen spots, but Kayo’s stands out for its consistency and heart in every bowl. Definitely coming back again soon!

absolutely best choice for fresh ramen!! shoyu pork ramen was my pick and it took me back to my childhood memories of ramen in hawaii. my mom had the ginger ramen, enjoying every bite was her comment when asked how it was.

It was great to see a nice variety of vegan friendly options on the menu here. In terms of the taste, nothing I ordered quite hit the spot. It was either too salty, spicy or oily. Entrees could use more veggies and ramen broth could use some more flavor. I may go back to try some other things I haven’t tried yet.
