This place is a joke. They used to be good, years ago (4-5 years). I got a tandoori mixed grilled and got skimped big time I'm missing alot of the meats that its supposed to come with. Unlike Massala house(next to north hills) knows how to do a mixed grilled not this place. What I got was pretty much a leg and thigh with 3 shrimps, mini kebob slices(which should be chunks) and onions filled the platter. That is a joke of a mixed grill. I got charged for a mixed grill when this should be a chicken tandoori platter with samples. I know the places to eat at in the area that are quality. This place is garbage and is not, avoid. Also after reading some of the reviews it seems that they skimp out on dishes that are to go. Im never going again and you shouldn't either. There are better Nepalese r

Food color on all food items. Name says Kathmandu and Nepali foods never have food color in them. Chowmein looked like came from Red planet Mars as it was very red in color unlike the real chowmein does not have this color. I ordered goat curry, chowmein and chicken biryani. Goat curry Nepali style was on the menu but I felt like I ordered Indian style too oily, food color too and taste less. Same goes to Chowmein. Worst ever Nepali food ever had. Thank god, I did not order Momo.

Disappointed! It was my first time visit there the environment was fine for dinner. If I talk about the taste it wasn't good I'll give 5/10! I ordered Veg pakora, Samosa chaat, Chicken Chow-men noodles, Butter chicken with butter naan & garlic naan. The chicken chow-men noodles tastes very bad 👎🏼 worst chow-min noodles I ever had I complained the server & returned it so she didn't charge me.The butter chicken tastes okay not that good I had better than this. Samosa chaat was okay & butter naan was the only thing I liked it was perfect but they burned the garlic naan I regret ordering that. I believe they should change the chef to serve better food service!

As an Indian who’s picky about desi food in the U.S., Kathmandu Kitchen absolutely delivered. The flavors tasted like home, balanced masalas, proper tadka, and spice levels that aren’t watered down. Juicy momos, deep, well-spiced curries, and naan from tandoori. Plenty of vegetarian/vegan choices, warm service, clean space, and fair prices. Easily one of the best Indian/Nepali spots in Cary.
