Kara's Korner Deli

Updated review 2026: still our favorite place to eat in Glendora. If you come in the evening ask for Patti as your server, she is amazing! Original review from five years ago: Definitely lives up to the online ratings. We chose based on the high google ranking and wholeheartedly agree. They're doing a great job complying with the covid requirements to eat outside with a nice setup. The menu is comprehensive with breakfast available all day. Reasonable prices, generous portions, fast and friendly service. We look forward to eating here more often on our visits to Glendora.

Order a simple bacon and eggs. Everything tasted of days old grease, couldn't finish the bacon because it tasted spoiled. Hashbrowns were cold, not fully cooked and again tasted like old grease. People seem to enjoy the sandwiches maybe I'll try that if I ever come back.

Stopped in because we heard the sandwiches were something special… they were indeed so special we had to recommend them to friends we saw afterward and they agree, this place is a phenomenal gem. Had the corned beef as well as the pastrami. Both were immaculately reminiscent of some of the best delis we’ve visited across the country. Steak fries and sweet potato fries were also pure perfection. We will be adding Kara’s to our regular rotation, for sure.

It took a little while to get my order in to go but that was okay. I ordered the fried chicken dinner The chicken itself tasted good and was cooked properly but that breading was waaay too heavily applied I pulled off handfuls of it in order to get to the meat. Hopefully my next experience is better.

Amazing home-made food, spacious dine-in our outdoor seating. Service is friendly and prompt. Our order arrived faster than we could eat our soup and stir our iced tea! Food was hot, egg- salad sandwich was cold and the pickle spear was crisp and delicious! We will come back again! Eye catching dessert display case, we had coconut cake and it is definitely noteworthy!
