Customer Reviews
Ordered the falafel sandwich and pistachio baklava for lunch and dessert. The falafel and pita tasted fresh and the tahini was nicely spiced. Missing some flavor some hot sauce or spices. Good, but a little boring. The pistachio baklava was below average. The dough wasn't crispy. It wasn't flavorful. Did not taste fresh. Pretty disappointing, considering how good all the desserts looked!
I normally don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I was really disappointed in this. I got the Tawook wrap and it didn’t list that it was French fries as the potato portion of the wrap, it was just a ton of soggy fries with brown lettuce in a dry pita :/ the flavor was okay. If I wanted a huge pile of fries I would have gone to McDonald’s. I am hoping the other stuff from the bakery I ordered is good.
I was waiting at the urgent care next door. And came here to get three fountain drinks. While I was here I grabbed a shawarma, fries, and a dessert thing. The drinks were completely flat. So I came in and they replaced them with cans. (Didn’t they notice there was no fizz when they were pouring thme??) Then I open the shawarma. And it was so bad. The lettuce is brown. The pita was flavorless and dry as a bone. It was barely warm. The fries were super soggy. It was just a huge fail. And for $40 I expect more. Also, another review said that their soup was served to them with the servers thumb in the bowl. And that was my experience with the sodas. She had her fingers in the cups. Which I find kinda gross. Only giving the second star because the lady was nice.
Great food, tasty snacks and pastries. I had the chicken shawarma with majadara and I love it. They also have really good fresh-brewed tea.
I normally don't eat Labenese food on the westside, but am glad that we finally tried this place out. We ordered a few dishes and all of them were good and did not disappoint. The Meat Mezza platter was a good dish that allowed you to have a good variety of food. My friends enjoyed the chicken shawarma and chicken shawarma salad. I also enjoyed their toum, which I love to use as a dipping sauce for everything.
