One of the best culinary experiences that I have ever had. From the moment we sat down to the last bite of our dessert, it was an experience. The drinks were very good and they had lots of variety. We were told the Cauliflower was the second hottest thing on the menu, but it was not hot to us at all. It was very delicious. You should get 2 orders of the plantain brioche because you’ll definitely want more. Everything was seasoned to perfection and made with love. The chicken had a delicious crispiness and the cabbage that accompanied it was perfectly smoky and tender. The Pork Coppa was tenders and soft. It was almost like a tender steak. But the banana upside down cake with the rum raisin ice cream was by far the best. Go with lots of people who like to eat as a community so you can try

Everything from the cocktails to the dessert was just perfection at Kann. Exceptionally thought out menu, the design, ambience, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Out of the dishes we ordered, the ones that really stood out were the chicken that had the most delicious sauce underneath and the salad Which has really fresh kale leaves coated with cashew sauce that gave a beautiful creamy texture to it. Everything else was great too! The wait staff knew about every dish and gave great suggestions on the cocktails that we enjoyed as well.

A truly incredible meal. I’ve been wanting to try Kann for quite some time, and it was an excellent experience. My two friends and I tried 8 different dishes, all of which were so flavorful and memorable — my favorites were the plantain brioche, twice cooked pork, and roasted cabbage. If you have a salty palette, you’ll love the food here (I love salt and thought it was right on the edge of being a little too much), but if you don’t like salty food, your tastebuds might be a little tired after the entree course. We also ordered two desserts which were the perfect size with deep and decadent flavors to finish out the meal. Highly recommend the banana cake. Service was friendly, informative and quick, and the setting was beautiful (although it can get a bit loud as noted in other reviews, so

This was my first time trying Haitian cuisine, and Kann absolutely blew me away. Every dish was vibrant, flavorful, and unlike anything I’ve had before. The twice-cooked pork, the American wagyu steak, and the eggplant were my absolute favorites. Each one was packed with incredible depth and balance. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. I can’t wait to come back and try more.

KANN absolutely lived up to the hype and made for an unforgettable dining experience We enjoyed the warm sweet potato bread, Akra (crispy taro fritters), griyo (twice-cooked pork), and the coffee-rubbed New York strip- every dish was outstanding. The atmosphere really completed the experience. The space encourages conversation and has a welcoming, almost family-style feel that makes you want to stay awhile. You can truly feel the care and intention behind both the food and the environment. If you’re visiting Portland, this restaurant is well worth the reservation. I would absolutely return.
