Really solid dinner at Kani house for a birthday. They had a lot of birthdays it was a Saturday night. Food was really good. Prices were pretty reasonable. 3 chicken hibachi combos, tofu app, and one Coke for $84 with tip. We arrived about an 45 min before our scheduled time and didn’t get sat until 15 minutes after. Didn’t get my first refill for about 20 min. Bathrooms were also dated. Really should get rid of the fake plants
It was a great experience! The food was delicious and the service was great. The ambient is light and lovely. Already planning to come back! We visited in Valentine’s Day.
My family and I have been to this Kani house many times for special occasions (Birthdays, work promotions, meeting my sons girlfriend), and the food has always been good. However, things have drastically changed since our last visit. All of the meals have gone up exorbitantly. I get that the market for things has increased, but I have been there with a group of 7-8 people, and spent just over $200. This with Tip was almost $350. I also understand why places do mandatory tip on the size of party, but being forced to tip 20% on shitty service, well, that is just wrong. Our group of five people were sat with another group of 5 people at one of four Hibachi tables. We were the first seated at 6:30, and our server was Jadora. She took our drink order, food order, and soup/salad order, while th
Not my first time coming here but we had a really good time this time. The staff was very nice and our hibachi chef Richard was amazing. It was only two of us and our chef really kept us entertained. Our waitress made sure our cups never got empty and was very sweet. And if you haven’t, try the black rice. DELICIOUS!
Haven’t been to kani house in a very long time. This location in particular is a hit or miss for me personally but my recent visit reminded me of the golden days of kani house. Hibachi chef seasoned the food perfectly and did an amazing job accommodating to our party. Some notes: it was extremely cold inside the building…before and after the hibachi. I don’t remember having to choose from either soup and salad I thought we always received both. With the price increase I was a little bummed out about that.
