Kang's Kitchen BBQ Duluth (강식당)

It’s a Korean BBQ spot, but during lunch you can choose the all-you-can-eat option, which lets you try a variety of meats. Before the BBQ comes out, they serve several free-entry side dishes, and everything tasted great. The naengmyeon after the meat was also really good. The tonkatsu was a bit greasy and dry, and while the meat selection was big with good marinades, the quality matched what you’d expect from a lunch all-you-can-eat menu. We ate a lot — enough for two people to be stuffed with leftovers — and the bill was only about $100. For the amount we actually ate, it felt like a great deal. If you’re someone who eats a lot, this place will definitely make you happy. Our server was super friendly, and the interior was spacious and nicely designed.

really enjoyed lunch here yesterday! kang’s original burger was one of a kind, tender, juicy patty with an amazing sauce that honestly beats fast food burgers. fries were perfectly crispy. the brisket soybean stew (차돌 된장찌개) was rich, deep, and comforting. both the stew and the toomba donkatsu pasta (톰바 돈카스 파스타) had a moderate spice level that was perfect, flavorful heat without being overwhelming. the pasta was cheesy, creamy, and balanced with a nice crunch from the pork cutlet. my parents loved every dish. we came last year too and came back with high expectations, still just as satisfying! the ice cream and slushy machine tied everything together. our server andrew was great and very friendly. thanks!!

A true gem in Duluth! Kang’s Kitchen offers a premium K-BBQ experience that stands out from the rest. The marinated short rib (Galbi) was incredibly tender, and the quality of the meats is clearly top-tier. I loved the modern, clean aesthetic and the attentive service. We had an amazing experience at Kang’s Kitchen, made even better by our server, Drew. From the moment we were seated, Drew was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making sure we understood the menu and grill options without ever rushing us. The food was fresh, flavorful, and constantly refilled, and Drew checked in at just the right times to swap grills, bring out new meats, and make sure everything was perfect. His positive attitude and great service really elevated the whole dining experience. Don’t forget the all you can drink slushie and we got the waffle fish and paired it with ice cream. Great way to end the meal. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit—highly recommend, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Drew as your server!

Amazing Korean BBQ experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, and the atmosphere was great for both friends and family. Huge shoutout to our waitress Rachael, she was incredibly friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Service like hers really makes a difference.
