Kabul Afghan Restaurant

Loyal customer for last 5 yrs and have tried most of their dishes. Best part is the white sauce which is homemade! You can purchase it in a small pint that comes in a glass 🫙for $15. I just would like to see that 🫙 get replaced with something with a better lid. It gets messy when you open and close it because the lid gets stuck to the sauce and gets all over the place. There should be a date on it too so customers know it’s shelf life. Other than that it is a great place to eat and take out is always an option.

Our family dined in tonight and had the most delicious and flavorful dinners at Kabul. Everyone is so friendly and caring for you to enjoy your selections. We had incredible plates of spectacular meat, chicken and shrimp. I can't wait to return. Thank you ! We will be back !

Just discovered this fabulous restaurant. Wish I was a food critic so I could give this review the refinement it deserves. I don’t have the vocabulary to match the food! The soups are savory and healthy. In fact - all of the food seems healthy, savory, abundant, fresh, delicious and leaves me wanting to go back tomorrow. I will always wake up the next day to leftovers as the portions are generous. I’ve had salmon, chicken, beef, soups, all perfection. The desserts are large enough to share and perfect. Not too sweet but sweet just the right amount. Service is professional, capable, tight. They are on it. They are paying attention. Ample easy parking. Music is pleasant in the background. Not too loud. The decor is homey and feels vintage. In a funky way. Friendly vibe. It’s just great

I’ve been going to this place before when they used to open for lunch and now they open dinner only. I haven’t been in for a long time but maybe I’ll come by for dinner next time. I passed by this place today while driving and I realized I have never left a review. I love afghan food and have been to a lot of afghan restos in Nassau and suffolk and so far this one is the best . What’s stands out from the rest is the flavor from what I can remember the rice here has a nice beefy smoky addition to it. The kabobs also had a nice chat grill flavor. Hopefully I can come back again one day. Hopefully it’s still as good as it was when I used to come here.

I have eaten in the restaurant a few times and ordered delivery many times. We are never disappointed! This is my daughter’s favorite restaurant. Their Kofta Chalaw, Aushak, Marsala Murgh, Gulpi Chalaw and Vegetable Sambosa’s are delicious! If she had her way, we would eat there every meal.
