Absolutely DELICIOUS!! This restaurant is a gem!! Stopped by randomly and I’m so happy I did! The lamb kebab platter is absolutely delicious. The lamb was cooked and marinated perfectly. All the food has so much flavor, I was really impressed. I also got a meat pie and it was pretty tasty too. The owner is also very kind and service was great and quick! Can’t wait to go back!! *took this pic after I started eating, so some bites are missing :)
I have had a lot of Iraqi and Jordanian and Lebanese food, best I have ever had nd I don't say that lightly.
If you’re looking for authentic Mediterranean/middle eastern food, this place is the real deal. The fact that it’s in the same building as a gas station only adds to its credentials. I got the lamb shawarma plate with the red rice and everything was delicious. The seasoning was spot on and the food was definitely of a high quality and cooked properly. The owner/chef was a very nice Iraqi gentleman that was happy to serve me and talk about the food. I am of middle eastern descent and travel a lot for work so I seek out this food, and I must say this was one of the best places yet! I will definitely be returning when I’m in the area again.
We've only been here once, on the way to Hartford Bradley Airport. There is no seating, we got takeout and ate it at the airport. The food was very good. Sorry I can't say exactly what the food was because my spouse ordered and she said she told the guy to give us whatever was freshest and best at that time. I had a wrap, as shown in photos. I think it was lamb. I say it was very good because it tasted good, gave me no gas, and no other intestinal problems later on if you know what I mean. That's my criteria for food while traveling. We'd go here again if we were in the area. No sign of the guy smoking like the bad review documented.
I’ve tried dozens of Mediterranean grills and I have NEVER had a place that incorporated so many flavors in their dishes. Everything is so fresh and delicious! The owner Mohammed is very kind and greets you with a smile and great conversation. It through me off at first bc their location is in a gas station plaza but food is phenomenal! I will be back and I’m bringing friends next time! :) My one and a half year old eats the grape leaves and spinach pie and I am loving the grape leaves and lamb shawarma.
