K2 Cafe and Kitchen

This life-saving and delightful cafe is strategically located halfway through a 60-mile loop that local cyclists embark on. Last weekend, I had the pleasure of joining a local group of cyclists on this ride. What truly made the journey enjoyable was the K2 cafe’s warm and delicious breakfast burrito, which consisted of eggs, rice, bacon, and cheese. I paired it with a banana and a hydration pack, and it was the best ride I’ve had in months! The cafe offers ample parking, a convenient water bottle station for refilling, and clean bathrooms. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I’m already planning to return to try the rest of their food during all my rides this season! Follow me at @breakroombethesda.

Food is INCREDIBLE. 100% recommend the rose tandoori chicken bowl. So fresh and delicious! And the portion size is great. The owners are lovely, and so personable! They greeted everyone who came in like old friends. If you're in Clarksburg, you need to try this place. So so good

Cyclist oasis. We visit at least once a week. Very friendly to cyclists! Great food, great atmosphere, great coffee. Even have a water fountain to refil bottles!

K2 Cafe absolutely deserves five stars! The customer service here is exceptional — the staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. I tried their salmon bagel and it was packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. The strawberry matcha shake was the perfect blend of sweet and refreshing — definitely a must-try! If you're in or around Poolesville, K2 Cafe is a spot you shouldn't miss.

We took a drive for some lunch, usually it would be our biking stop but it was a bit windy today. The food, owner, and environment are all wonderful. I highly recommend this location if you are looking for a quick lunch with a friendly environment. We ordered the spicy select wig bacon, chipotle chicken wrap and the k2 dog. Everything was delicious, we will absolutely keep coming back.
