Junior’s Restaurant and Bakery

It’s a tad overrated. The chicken salad was a solid 8/10 but it was disappointing to pay $20 for just a sandwich with no side. I ordered the fries on the side for an extra $5. Coleslaw 0/10- no flavour, way too much vinegar, no sauce. Pickles 10/10. The fries were 9/10. We tried the cheesecake and it was a -100/10. It was so milky and gross, we couldn’t have a single slice! Unfortunately, very disappointed.

Our son summed it up well - the things that are good here are done very well. Things that aren't just aren't. Matzah ball soup and loaded potato pancake was good. The potato pancake w apple sauce as a side is tasty but very greasy so be warned. Get it and stop there. I also got the cheese blintzes. Kind of like an egg roll. They appear also deep fried which is a first for me. Was told burger was juicy and perfectly done (he voted 4 stars here). Was told brisket was good but dry. The au ju was good. Was told sour cream was done right. You get complimentary pickles and beets. Service is very friendly.

I'm so glad I decided to stop by Junior's Coffee & Bakery Shop, located in the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT. Akena, the staff member on duty, was absolutely amazing—friendly, courteous, and incredibly helpful. She provided excellent service and assisted me just before closing, which I truly appreciated. It was a smooth and pleasant experience overall. I highly recommend this spot—definitely a 5-star coffee and bakery shop! Thank you, Akena!

I think this was one of the worst breakfasts I’ve ever had. My eggs Benedict came overcooked, the pancake was raw, and the potatoes were old, dry, and tasteless. The waitress was very friendly when we complained about the pancake and kindly offered to replace it, but we said no and still paid. Way too expensive for the poor quality of the food. I’ve had amazing eggs Benedict for $13 that were fresh and flavorful! I do not recommend this restaurant.
