A great place to get a great meal in the Burg. Food is definitely the star of the show here. Its southern style food with generous portions. Plus they seem to have quite a few items on the menu for other dietary preferences which is always good to see. The cocktails are excellent plus are reasonably priced which was awesome. The service and atmosphere are all good but nothing special. All in all, I definitely recommend and will be back at some point.

Ok this place was WAY better than I expected it to be I will be honest. The food, and the drinks in particular were just exceptionally great! I had the Dream Weaver cocktail and wow I loved it! We got fried cauliflower appetizer that was super and we all devoured it. I ordered a shrimp Po'boy because I have not had one since I was down south. It was quite good but I have to talk up what my son ordered!!! The Dirty Bird sandwich. Oh. My. Lord that was one amazing sandwich. I took a bite and it was full of complex and complimentary flavors. Salty and creamy pimento cheese, sweet flavorful hot honey, soft sweet waffle bun, and lots of Smokey bacon and a big chicken breast. This was one heck of a sando!!! My compliments to the kitchen!

Julep offers generous seating, decent parking, friendly staff, and solid American food options. The portions were generous, but the taste was average. If you're looking for a solid option in Ellensburg, it's worth checking out.

My girlfriend and I stopped at this place kind of randomly on our way to see Dave Matthews. I'm from the south and I saw in the reviews that they were pretty proud of their fried chicken so I voted that we go there and she agreed and so we did. I had no idea walking in that I was about to have one of the best meals of my life. Literally every component of the fried chicken and waffle dish was the best version of that component that I'd ever had. The waffle was astounding the syrup was delicious The biscuit that I got on the side was phenomenal. It was a large serving and I almost ate all of it because I just could not stop. This place is probably two and a half hours from my house and I can see driving back specifically to eat there in my future

I love going to this establishment! The atmosphere, food, and drinks are amazing, to say the least. I just had the "Dirty Bird" chicken sandwich and it is by far one of the best, if not THE best chicken sandwich I have had in my life! Pair that with a good "Old Fashioned" with Buffalo Trace bourbon makes the perfect meal!
