Juan's Mexican Cafe and Cantina

Food was bad. Chips smelled bad and tasted worse like really old oil. I had the #78 chicken taco special. Inedible. The chicken was tough and dry, the tortillas were soggy, and the presentation was terrible. It was not edible.

I had high expectations when I was reading reviews and looking at the menu. Giving it one star because the only good thing about this place was that the bartender was nice. The drinks were flat out gross. Ordered the skinny margarita and it was basically all agave syrup. I was watching her make the margaritas and it was the slightest splash of tequila, then fill up the glass with premade mix. The Cheeseburger tacos were disgusting. Flavorless and clearly the burgers were frozen. The Chimichanga was better but again no flavor and very small portion. Didn’t matter the portion size because I just couldn’t even eat much of it. If you do give this place a chance please know that down the street there’s a Taco Bell, which sadly, has better tacos.

I booked Juan's Cafe and Cantina for our wedding catering and our experience was incredible. Our guests raved about the food, and the service we received was 5 stars! Working with Juan was so easy and he and his staff took care of everything on our wedding day, I didn't have to worry about a thing!

Great food and great service! Very warm and friendly atmosphere! The menus has every option you can think of. 10/10 would recommend to everyone! We ordered the fajita nachos shown in the picture.

Review for Juan’s Mexican Restaurant This used to be one of my favorite spots — good food, good atmosphere. But over the past year, the quality has completely dropped off. My takeout orders are wrong almost every time, and after my most recent dine-in experience, I won’t be coming back. When my husband and I arrived, no one greeted or seated us for nearly 10 minutes. Once we finally got a table, chips were tossed down without even asking if we wanted drinks. Another 10 minutes went by before our simple drink order (a beer and a Sprite) arrived — in a dirty cup.
