We had such a wonderful stay in Hammondsport! Walter was an absolute pleasure to work with—so accommodating and attentive throughout the entire trip. The house itself was beautiful, spotless, and perfectly located for exploring the area. Being dog-friendly was a huge bonus, and our pup felt right at home. Everything about our experience exceeded expectations, and we truly couldn’t recommend this place more. We’ll definitely be back!

We visited Hammondsport, NY for mini vacation. We stayed J.S Hubbs Guest House for 2 nights. This guest house is located conveniently in the Hammondsport with restaurants, gift/antique shops and lake side walking area. We had small dog with us and it was very dog friendly. The room we stayed in (Hubbs Cellar) was spacious with kitchen, laundry, living room, dining room and bedroom with king size bed. Modern, clean and wonderful. We had everything we needed to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend this guest house.

We had the most wonderful fall getaway in Hammondsport, NY! Our stay on beautiful Keuka Lake was everything we hoped for and more. Each morning, we loved walking through the charming town to start our day, then wandering back for lunch at one of the local spots and browsing the quaint shops. In the evenings, we enjoyed drinks and live entertainment right in town — everything was within walking distance, which made it so relaxing.|The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, and our accommodations had everything we needed for a cozy and comfortable stay. Our hosts were fantastic — friendly, attentive, and full of great suggestions for things to see and do in the area.|We left feeling refreshed and already can’t wait to visit this sweet little town again. Walter is a kind and thoughtful host! His suite is perfect for a small family with 2–3 adults, a young child, and even a pet. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and incredibly child-friendly. For our toddler (1–3 years), Walter provided a crib, unbreakable dinnerware, all kinds of cups, a high chair, and a booster seat. He even went the extra mile to babyproof all the outlets, which gave us great peace of mind.||As someone who usually overpacks for baby travel, I was pleasantly surprised to find almost everything we needed already provided. (If you’re traveling with a baby under 1, you might still want to bring a bottle warmer, but otherwise, it’s all here!)||We also brought our dog, and Walter had thoughtfully prepared pet essentials—pee pads, bowls, a leash, and waste bags.
