Black Sheep Inn

We had a lovely stay And above average service. This inn is a gem. The owners are very accomodating and the breakfast each day was outstanding. Options for vegan and non most items are by default. The cranberry scones were to die for. A nice get away into the wine country but only a short drive from towns if you want. We went to corning museum of glass about 30 mins away and it was an easy drive. I highly recommend staying here!

We loved our visit with Miranda and Simon at The Black Sheep Inn & Spa! They helped make our very round number anniversary trip through NY State an amazing time away from home. Comfortable bed, wonderful property, pleasurable conversation, and amazing food. (Do NOT be scared of the menu if you aren't vegan. Both of our breakfasts and our packed picnic lunches were delicious. You won't miss the meat or dairy at all.) Hiked Watkins Glen State Park, walked around lovely towns on Keuka and Seneca Lakes, had some June Bug (black raspberry ice cream with crushed Oreos) in Hammondsport at Crooked Lake Ice Cream Company, and visited with pigs, emus, alpacas, goats, donkeys, sheep, and a tortoise at Autumn Mist Alpaca Farm, Fiber Mill, and Petting Zoo. Highly recommend all of the above!

Perfect romantic getaway. Beautifully appointed rooms, amazing house, quiet yet convenient location just outside the center of Hammondsport, perfect service, delicious breakfast. The place isn't 100% vegan, but their vegan breakfast is awesome. Massages were great, too. Been there twice, will return again.

We loved our stay at the Black Sheep! Simon and Miranda are incredible hosts and the room was both spacious and homey. Very comfortable bed, modern bathroom, and plenty of space outside to relax at night. We did the massage package and the wine tour as part of our stay and fully recommend taking advantage of both offerings. The homemade truffles, granola, and vegan breakfasts were all some of the best food we had in the region. We went for our honeymoon and my wife wanted me to write again how good the truffles were. We also really enjoyed being able to have breakfast outside in the morning - you won’t leave hungry. We will certainly be back again and 100% recommend the inn.

My husband and I have stayed at the Black Sheep Inn twice and look forward to our next stay there! It is the most relaxing and restful place with delicious vegan breakfast as the cherry on top! The inn itself is beautiful and charming with a cozy fire pit outside to wind down for the evening and a cornhole set to start the day with a bit of fun. Kim and Gary are taking great care of the establishment Miranda and Simon started.
