Customer Reviews
The servings are generous: 6 ounces of pastrami for example. Their sourdough and rye breads are tender and flavorful. Cowboy beans are great. Am not a pasta salad fan, but theirs (shells) is moist and flavorful. Potato salad has great flavor, but occasionally the potatoes are too firm for my preference. The clam chowder is not a “traditional “ recipe but has relatively good-quality ingredients and the clams aren’t overly chewy. After 2:00 it’s not usually busy. They slice the meats and grill per order, so it’s usually 5-7 minutes—worth it for good food.
Friendly and efficient service. I had one of the best Rueben sandwiches I've had in a long time plenty of pickles and mustard, marbled rye bread and the meat was delicious. I had the potato salad as my side, I wasn't wowed by it. I'm not a big fan of potato salad. It had too many onions for my taste and needed more mustard. Don't judge it by my opinion. And I had a huge cup of Iced tea. I'll definitely be back.
We were driving thru, and even though there’s no inside seating, this little shop was a hit with us. Flavorful food made with care, spotless place, and friendly owners. We had the pastrami, Italian, (served warm) and Mac salad and slow cooked cowboy beans sides. We kept eating even after we were full because it all tasted so good!
The broccoli cheese soup is AMAZING! So much cheese that each spoonful has stretchy cheese!😂 The pastrami has a choice of special rye and comes with two sides. A free pop came with the order due to an insignificant error of the menu description! All soups are homemade and cooked overnight. Shannon's customer service is OUTSTANDING.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Joy’s Bistro is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious—I’m already excited to go back and try more of their sandwiches. We ordered the grilled cheese and ham on sourdough and the cowboy beans and potato salad as sides, and even my picky kids devoured everything. That’s saying a lot! There are a couple of picnic tables outside, perfect if you want to stay and eat or wait comfortably. The location is super easy to find, and the woman who helped us was incredibly kind and helpful. She even cut the sandwich to make it easier for my kids to eat, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for tasty food and warm, welcoming service. I’ll definitely be back!
