Mermaid Garden Cafe

Stopped while passing through on a road trip and were very pleased with our food and service. My husband and I each had a cup of veggie chowder - delicious! I ordered the Thai chicken with peanut sauce wrap (half size); my husband had the Greek panini. The food was fresh and made to order. Very tasty and so much better than any of the fast food or chain offerings in town. Our server was very friendly, and we sat down right away and were served our meal quickly (lunchtime on a Monday). The decor was cute, bathroom was clean. Highly recommend if you want fresh real food and to support a small local business!

This little hidden gem was a great find. It's a cafe with a simple menu of delicious food choices. Our sandwiches came with salad options and we chose broccoli salad and the Thai salad. Both were wonderful, not to much dressing to hide the flavors of the ingredients which boosted the flavor profile. When we went there seating was almost full. The empty tables had not been bussed and no one was available to assist us. We seated ourselves and found a stack of menus and waited for a server. The service and wait for our food was extremely slow. It appeared that only one person was tending to the whole cafe and she did the best she could buy you could tell she was overwhelmed. We can't wait to go back to try other items, and hopefully have better service.

We stoped there on our way to Bay Area. We ordered Rouben sandwich, Greek and Thai chicken sandwiches. The last one was totally tasteless, the other two were ok for hungry people. Service was good but food was not worth stopping. I wish we picked up different restaurant.

The waitress is so kind and gave excellent recommendations. We had the unstuffed mushroom protein bowl, a 1/2 pear blossom wrapped panini, and the Hawaiian panini. Everything was amazing! Delicious, light, healthy, perfect balance of flavors and ingredients. Absolutely worth the stop if you’re in town. I have a very sensitive stomach and I left feeling great. 10/10 would recommend.

Best food we have had in a long time!!! Chicken Thai wrap delicious! And a half is huge and comes with a side. Homemade soup and cookies. We had 3 cookies. Gone in a flash. Highly recommend
