Jose's Mexican Street Food

Love, love, love the food here. It reminds me of the taco shops in San Diego or Tijuana. By that, I mean the food is fantastic. The service is a little slow, especially on busy days but it is worth every minute of wait time. Everything I have tried here is delicious. The only thing that is missing is the salsa bar and hot carrots. I was not super excited to live away from the style of Mexican food that I love... But this brought me so much joy. The tacos Al pastor is so much like my favorite tacos de adobada... The carne asada and shrimp tacos were tasty. I'm looking forward to trying the birria tacos acá carne asada fries next.

Great flavor. I have only been here twice but no Elote either time. However the quesadillas, tacos, and everything I ordered was fantastic. Great flavor in the steak.

We've wanted to try Jose's for sometime now. It's an hour drive from us, but after attending the Covington Chocolate Tour yesterday we had our chance. We were so excited to try their Veggie Tacos as we love Cactus Tacos and not very many places have them. We were informed that they don't have the ingredients for those because "the trucks just don't deliver them anymore" and "at some point they may have to work on that somehow". We were told we could have a tortilla with lettuce, onion, and cilantro on it instead, but they didn't have anything else to make a veggie taco with. That was a less inviting option so we asked about the burritos. We stressed that we are vegetarian and I have a Tomato allergy. We were assured they were safe. We also ordered 2 Elotes and the Guacamole without Tomatoe

This place has the ambient of street Mexican food, but let me tell you, the best is the food. If I'm in the area, I am definitely coming back

Walked in and ordered our food at the counter and didn’t even sit down good and our order was ready. It was fantastic! Highly recommend
