I went a couple of times with some friends and both times the food was delicious!! After eating, we also ordered more food to take home. Lol Also, they catered to my shellfish allergy which is hard to find at restaurants nowadays. I love that! Besides the food being delicious, the drinks are also really good, and the atmosphere is amazing. The staff is also very nice. Great spot for some delicious food or grabbing drinks. This is my new favorite restaurant in Rhode Island.

JoRo is what the state of Rhode Island NEEDS! My sister and I came into the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the decor and its strong significance of what is West African culture. Additionally, we were greeted by one of the owners who was an absolute ANGEL- he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, offered insight on the delicious menu items and best selling drinks. When the food came out— I’d was over!! We ordered cassava leaf, the skewers, peppered chicken, and jollof rice. The flavors were explosive and honestly, unforgettable. We also ordered the Rosalina drink and an Expresso martini, which were excellent. Amazing, Authentic, and Delicious Liberian experience and Joel (1/2) of the JoRo name origin was so personable and hospitable, I only wish I had time to have gone back several times 🤭 I even got to meet the magic behind the goodness in the kitchen. 10/10 Highly Recommend. & I'm Liberian so I know good Liberian food! The spinach was just what we needed after a 10 hour drive ✨🙌🏿& it didn't take forever to fulfill the order and Joel served it with extra fried pepper sauce upon request.

HAD THE BEST TIME. Ofc the people are so nice and the food was incredible. I am not good with spice but the spice here was delicious and got used to it 🤩🤩

At first sight it was pretty empty but that made it really intimate for me and my boyfriend to share dinner together! Delicious food that is different than the average local restaurant and the waiter gave us a complimentary piece of YUMMY chocolate cake!! 😋 looking forward to going back with my girlfriends to share apps and have fun drinks!
