Made a reservation for our anniversary. night started off poorly when the host/manager? very obviously changed our table from a normal table to a high top that was directly next to the bar and a swinging glass panel that kept hitting us. Groups next to us were incredibly obnoxious (not the fault of the restaurant thought confusing that they received better service than us). it was so loud that we could not even hear each other talk. waitress and other staff were very nice but inattentive. overall it was obvious that the restaurant catered more to those that they thought would spend more money. Waited easily 45 minutes for our 2 pasta orders while others seated after us were served much quicker. food was unimpressive, salad was good but very simple and overpriced. Cacio e pepe was decent,

Jonathan's is a nice Italian restaurant located nearby the Paramount. It's a nice place for a nice Italian meal before a show. I would recommend it

I've been going here for a while and always had great meals, but this last time wasn't good. I bought a $65 steak, and I don't even think it was a prime cut of meat. It tasted chewy, as if it was from a low-quality chain restaurant. I asked for medium-rare, and was served a well done steak. I expected more. My wife's basic pasta with burrata just tasted off. And to top it off, we ordered a bottle of sparkling water, and was charged $10. This is a great way to ensure your loyal customers never return by doing this sort of tactic. The place was super loud, like a cafeteria. Usually I don't mind, but there were tables of girls just outright screaming and laughing, as if they were completely drunk and being overserved alcohol. Big thank you to Marlon for the outstanding service! …and the dinner was pretty good too. We started our dinner with oysters, fresh and tasty. Followed by Eggplant and the Tuna tare tare all very good. Our last plate was the squid ink linguini with prawns. All very good, we would recommend Jonathan’s in Huntington highly. Great experience!
