We stopped by Jomaru in Cerritos for lunch around noon and had such a great experience that it deserves a full review. Parking was easy. There were plenty of spots in the area — and the restaurant itself felt bright, clean, and comfortable from the moment we walked in. The staff really made the visit memorable. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and eager to help. They patiently explained the dishes, how to enjoy them, and which condiments went best with each one. That kind of hospitality makes such a difference, especially when you’re exploring a new place or trying something for the first time. Our group’s clear favorite was the Gam-Ja-Tang (pork bone soup). It was rich, savory, and perfectly seasoned like the kind of dish that feels like it was made in someone’s home kitchen with care

We ordered the small bossam and the Hae Jang Guk, a flavorful and spicy pork bone soup. It arrived steaming hot with large bones still packed with tender meat. The broth was rich, full-bodied, and perfectly seasoned. Our server even suggested we pull the bones apart to find the hidden meat pockets and bits of cartilage — and she was absolutely right. Excellent contemporary Korean restaurant with authentic and variety of food for everyone. For the 3 of us, we tried Ox bone soup, Galbi, seafood pancake (pajun), hot stone bi bim bap. Everything was excellent. We will definitely come back, and we have to try their specialties hot pot. The service was friendly and caring which many excellent Korean restaurants lacks. The lady took time to introduce the appetizer dishes which was helpful and almost nobody else do.

Always enjoy brining the family here for some Gamjatang. Service is great and has service buttons to call your server to the table. The place is nightly lit and quiet enough for conversation but still have some background music.
