jojo Bistro & Wine Bar - Webster

Delicious entree's, apps, and desert's, but very expensive. Some of the portions are small, best to get a salad or appetizer with your meal. The only thing that was mediocre was the serloin steak.

Our service was excellent, with a very friendly and attentive staff. I was not particularly impressed by the menu options. I was hoping for a higher quality steak cut than sirloin- i ended up choosing a burger because I'm not willing to pay for an inferior cut. The burger was a bit dry and lacked flavor (ordered mid rare). My wife had the beef short ribs, she enjoyed them although I did not taste them. Cocktails were tasty and there was a decent variety of wine as well.

We’ve been here numerous times and the food and service are always 10/10. I especially appreciate the attention of the head chef, who makes sure to deliver the food to each table and genuinely check in with each person. Both the chef and the servers are always incredibly accommodating with gluten free options for one of our family members with celiacs. We often bring our family members with down syndrome, and the servers are always incredibly patient and kind when we’re ordering.

This was my third time having dinner at JoJo in Webster, and unfortunately, it was my third disappointing experience. We started with the ricotta appetizer, and after a long wait it arrived with the bread burned completely black. It took another 10–15 minutes before it was replaced. My wife and I ordered a burger and the short rib. About 30 minutes after placing our order, we were told the restaurant had run out of burger buns, so we opted for a lettuce wrap instead. About 10 minutes later, they let us know they had also run out of fries, so we changed the burger to a second short rib. Our entrées took over an hour to come out of the kitchen. This restaurant has so much potential, but the execution is always off. I really want to support local restaurants, but this will be my last visit

I'm a Houston native and visiting so I know a good meal and this was NOT it the service was terrible waitress rude the drinks where very sour or watery and as shown in the picture I couldn't finish my food everything unseasoned and my husband ordered the buttermilk chicken and it was mostly salad overall disappointing
