I’ve been going to Johnny’s since moving off Iverson in 2004 when I was 10, so this spot has been part of my whole childhood and adulthood. From coming here after Potomac with friends to now bringing my boyfriend, it’s always been a staple. He says they have the best chicken (always fried hard) and I agree. The menu is huge, but like any good carryout, you find the classics they’re good at. For us it’s been the steak and cheese, fried wings and fries with mumbo sauce, steak and cheese egg rolls, shrimp and broccoli, all of the fried rices, shrimp egg foo young, and beef and broccoli. From what I understand this place has been here for over 30+ years and it looks as if it hasn't had any renovations since. Service was fine. The food however is not recommended. We ordered the Crab Rangoon and they had zero flavor. We also ordered the steak and cheese and that too was a disappointment. Needless to say from the outside appearance, find another place to spend your money!

The fish sub was good. We ordered a whole sub which was two halves individually wrapped. The seasoned fries were salty. The regular fries were okay. The cheesesteak was okay. The half and half’s were just right.

My family has been coming here for years and it never disappoints!! Everything is absolutely delicious and fresh…and the lady behind the counter is always nice.

Always great, just ordered 6.... Beef & Broccoli 🥦 platters. They killed it, great job. Comes with pork fried rice and a 🍤 shrimp egg roll.
