On 2/1/26 my wife and I ordered some food from here. I ordered the shrimp basket and 2 steak and cheese egg rolls. My wife ordered a half fish sub and fries plus 2 steak and cheese rolls. In total we spent $40 for the nastiest I can't even say it was steak nor cheese but I tell you don't buy it. I'm very upset because I had my heart set on them. Plus I live in Va and this is the place that had the egg roll steak and cheese on their menu. I asked the lady at the window for some tartar sauce. She hits the bag and said inside I looked and seen it was cartel sauce. I said no you can keep that and you can give a tartar sauce so she did and gave me one. First of all this place has been ripping me off for years. The lady at the counter whom I assume is the owner is literally ripping everyone off when they purchase food there. She includes tax on each item brought and an extra $1 to every item brought. I’ve been paying $17.95 for years for a large shrimp fried rice with jumbo shrimp until one Friday night in December 2025 when the original lady was not there and I ordered the exact same thing a large shrimp fried rice with jumbo shrimp and the guy said $13.95 I couldn’t believe it. I went back again ordered the same thing a large shrimp fried rice with jumbo shrimp and the lady was there and much to my surprise she charged me $17.95 I said naw not this time and I pointed to the guy whom charged me the $13.95 and said he only charged me $13.

Cooks seemed busy, though the food was fairly ordinary and indeed excessively salty to my taste. Skimpy on shrimp dishes. Menu board is disintegrating and the waiting area is cold and noisy.

The steak and cheese was excellent!!! The shrimp lo mein was good too nothing to write home about, the shrimp could’ve been bigger but the flavor was good but overall they get 5 stars just for the steak and cheese alone!! This is the place to come for a good steak and cheese!!

The food was ok but the service was nice the old lady at the register was very rude would even let me buy ice. Just shook her head no and rolled her eyes. The atmosphere is very old you can tell they have been there for a long time they still have all the menus up from when I came 20 years ago
