John E's Restaurant

Would not recommend this place one bit. Walked in, everything was good at first. Manager and server were both nice not a problem. My problem started when I ordered the trio meal that is supposed to come with crawfish, snow crab, and shrimp. When we were served we only received crawfish and had to ask the server to tell the kitchen to give us our snow crab and shrimp. Now I ordered the mild seasoning, the crawfish was good but the snow crab and shrimp were completely bland. I might as well have fished it out the ocean myself. There was absolutely no flavor on it at all. Not once did I ever get asked if I wanted a refill on my water on the 30 minutes I was there. The service from the server was like I said good at first but through the meal she stopped coming to us and didn’t see her again

We recently went to eat at John E's, and it was great! The crawfish was tasty and fresh. The kiddos enjoyed their meals, as well. Zoe was our server, and she's fantastic! She was very tentative and sweet. Thank you, Zoe, for such great service...and thank you, John E's for great food!

We normally don’t eat crawfish this early in the season, but we decided to take a chance on John E’s tonight and we’re glad we did. The crawfish were soaked and seasoned really good. I also wanted to give a special shout-out to the new manager, Nathan. He was awesome and had a great attitude. Thumbs up to Nathan and his crew. Wishing you guys a great crawfish season! We were here for a birthday party and there were about 25 of us in the group. A reservation was made a week in advance so there was plenty of time to prepare staffing wise. We only had one waitress the entire night who struggled to keep up with everything. It was a total nightmare. Our drinks were constantly empty. We had to ask to order our appetizers and then our food and it came out so slowly that some people were finished with their meals before others even received theirs. One person after everyone was served asked where his fried oysters were only to find out that they had brought it out to another person presenting it as a seafood platter but never asking who didn’t get their oysters when questioned why the seafood platter only had oysters. I want to share an experience my daughter had at John E’s on January 15, 2026. This is about how the situation was handled and specifically about her interaction with manager Nate Duncan, not the restaurant overall, as we’ve eaten there many times without issue. I was not present during this visit. My daughter called me after the interaction but while she was still in the restaurant waiting for her bill, upset and confused by how the situation was handled, which is why I am writing this review. While eating crawfish at John E’s, my daughter discovered a large bug in her food. She immediately notified the waitress. The waitress brought the plate to the manager, who took it to the back and did not return for about 20 minutes. When he returned, he said, “So you found a bug in your crawfish
