Joe's Steak Shop

Server didn't tell me there was an upcharge for onions and provolone cheese. Ordered a chicken cheese steak, it was lacking in flavor. Onions were extra, and there were not many. If you're going to upcharge me for onions at least put more than a tablespoon on the cheesesteak. Provolone was also an up charge. The place needs a good cleaning. I did not use the bathroom. There was an area to sit outdoors. Three tables inside. I wont be back!!! The cheese steak itself was small. A 10.95 cheesesteak turned into 15.95 real quick. You want a really good chicken cheese steak? Go someplace else.

The cheese steaks, chicken cheese steaks, chili etc are fantastic! The ladies behind the counter are amazing! I moved here 9 years ago and was looking for some where to get something good to eat. Everybody hands down told me to go to Joe's. They were not wrong!!!

My purchased two Sammie's. I had been looking forward to it. My sandwich didn't have any cheese plus the steak sauce was nothing more than catsup to me. The staff was great and informative. The food gave us the soupy poopies.

Sad to say I've lived in the area for 25 years and this is the first time I've had Joe's. Sorry I waited so long. The cheesesteak was excellent. Good portion size. Great steak, great bread. Also got chicken fingers and fries. Everything was hot and fresh and made to order on the spot. There's tables outside and inside. We sat outside and enjoyed. Can't wait to go back and try some other things. Saw a cheeseburger wrap on the menu. Pricing is right in line with a locally owned restaurant. Go out and support a local business. They've been around a LONG time and I see why now.

Better than any cheese steak in Philly. We got there just as they opened, placed our order and waited less than 10 mins for our food to be cooked. They were pretty busy by the time our order was ready to go. Great food. Very friendly service. I never have a reason to be in Phillipsburg but I’d make the trip back just to go to Joe’s.
