Generally speaking, the cakes, cookies and pastries at Kumi's Cakes and Pastries are amazing and the filling/buttercream in each pastry is out of this world. This review is for 2 special orders that was done at Kumi's Cakes and Pastries. We are ever so grateful to her for accepting our order amidst her very hectic schedule. We provided her with the list of items and she helped us choose the "perfect" filling for each pastry. We could not have been more pleased with the result. All pastries/snacks were a hit at the party. She makes everything from scratch and her Sri Lankan eclairs (chocolate chocolate eclairs) are the best. I don't think we can find anything closer to that even in Sri Lanka. She's a "PRO" in pastries and cakes and the best we've met so far. She is very detail oriented and

Just went in to grab some goodies for a party and was blown away by how amazing the desserts are!! The tres leches and cheesecake were to die for!! We also tried the bacon egg and cheese croissants and they were absolutely incredible!!! Had the pleasure of speaking with Kumi who was the sweetest woman ever. 5 stars!

Definitely a hidden gem. Everything is delicious. Try the eclairs. They are the best I have ever had the pleasure of eating.

I’m not sure what was sweeter, Kuma or her incredible eclairs/creme puffs! I placed an order based strictly from reviews.. so thank you to those of whom took the time to lead us the right direction! The manner in which Kuma took my call, and took the time to ask about the occasion and when Id serve the baked goods, to ensure my order would not only be ready, but made to be served as fresh as possible. There isn’t a woman on this planet that can refrain from sampling dessert to be served at a party she is hosting.. but there is one who probably should have ordered more! … the tomato pie is truly the best I’ve ever had..

Kumi’s always does an amazing job. Their tomato pie and cakes are great. We had a smash cake and beautifully decorated sheet cake for our daughter’s first birthday. Everyone kept asking where we got the cake from. You will not be disappointed choosing Kumi’s.
