Joe’s Spaghetti & Pizza is more than a restaurant — it’s a piece of local history and a living testament to genuine hospitality. My father has cherished this place since his days as a young UMass Amherst student, even before he was drafted to Vietnam. After all these years, we finally returned together — and what a wonderful experience it was. The food was absolutely phenomenal — juicy, saucy, and layered with flavor. We found the pizza to be very tasty. The servers were delightful. They let me wear the lacrosse helmet. The table water was quite fresh and clean.

Joe’s Pizza has quickly become one of my go-to spots in Northampton. I’ve been twice now and everything I’ve tried has been consistently solid. The chicken parm grinder was really good; classic, filling, and done right. The cheesy bread is an absolute must-get every time; it’s one of those things you order once and can’t skip after that. The shrimp scampi pizza seriously surprised me in the best way, great flavor, not overly greasy, and just different enough to stand out from your typical pizza options. I also had the chicken parm pasta, which was amazing and easily one of the best comfort dishes I’ve had in a while. Joe's is not to be overlooked. Finding a place with good eggplant parmesan makes me happy. The cheesy garlic bread is amazing! It was easily two meals. I look forward to trying a few more things in the future! There is parking in the lot across the street fyi.
