Elm Street Inn

We stayed in the Willow House for the Thanksgiving holiday. Our host Katherine was very responsive, and we got a surprise upgrade to the Willow House, which is a lovely apartment with a private entrance. The apartment was super clean and full of wonderful amenities. The king-size bed is more comfortable than our bed at home! The kitchen is amazing, it was fully stocked with the basics and if you are so inclined to bake you will find all the necessary baking needs at your fingertips. We were delighted to find a turntable and a great selection of albums, which was a lot of fun to go through. The Inn is a short walk to the center of town. All in all, a lovely stay and we will definitely be back!

We stayed in the Willow House, which is a full apartment separated from the main inn by a door in the kitchen, which can be locked. Beautiful and spacious, with plenty of room to stretch out and unwind. There's a large bedroom with a king-size bed, huge living room with sectional couch and TV (with Apple TV), separate reading area, 1 and 1/2 baths, and eat-in-kitchen with classic cabinets. Lovely colonial charm, with wide floorboards throughout. Amazing location in the historic section of town, right across from Smith and a short walk to town. A bit pricier than other options in town, but worth it!

Unfortunately, airbnb won't let me write a review anymore as already 14 days have passed since we have returned from our stay at Kate's magnificent Willow House, which is kind of part of the Elm Street Inn. Willow House is a wonderful, tastefully decorated appartment (fully equipped kitchen, large living room, beautiful bedroom, extra room with washer and dryer, and a small garden). And although being in a historical house in the historical Elm Street neighborhood, the appartment is even equipped with a modern, well-functioning A/C! Long story short: Our long-term stay that lasted almost 1/4 year was more than pleasant! We already miss Willow House and Northampton and will definitely come back in the future. Kate is a great, very responsive host and really adds to the great experience.

Lovely quaint building directly across from Smith College, spacious ground floor apartment 1-bed, 2 bath with full kitchen and access to a common room. Beautiful. Property has a garden courtyard where my friend hired a musician to come and perform for a socially distant hour - fantastic.

This place is great. Very affordable but the most comfortable beds and such great decore for the old style. The people are wonderful and it is walking distance to great shops and food of Northampton. If you are in the area defiantly stay here. I will be staying here every time we are in Northampton
