Joe's Pasty Shop To-Go LLC

This place matches my imagination for a pastie shop. Love it from the simple packaging to the friendly down to earth small town charm. Next time I will eat at the counter instead of devouring a traditional pastie while headed south on Highway 51 to land of no pasties. Thank goodness I was able to pick up some frozen ones for my next road trip.

We stopped based on previous reviews. Enjoyed the nostalgia about the miners and this historic pastie shop, but the dining room severely needed cleaning and updating. Had a traditional and a veggie pastie. Both were OK. The fillings were generously portioned and not dry. The pastry was dry and disappointing, though. We had hoped for something remarkable rather than just OK.

What a surprise our route to Bond Falls. We were served hot scrumptious organic beef, potatoes, onions and salt pasties. We bought a frozen scrambled egg, meat, etc for our next morning breakfast. Thankful we saw Joe's Pasty on our map!! Don't miss out.

Best authentic pasties around. Good in size and quality ingredients. We buy frozen to go and enjoy back home. If you want good pasties, you can’t go wrong here.

So cute little shop it looks like takeout only unless you wanna eat outside if there’s no seating inside. We have several varieties of frozen pasties and the Traditional variety are available hot. The customer service was very good.
