Joe's Craft Pies

This is the place to go in Westwood for great freshly made pies, cookies, chill and other goodies. There is a good assortment available on the store and you can see Joe if you have a special request. Joe has been in business at the farmers market and now his pies are available year round at his store.

Found this cute little shop while I was walking through Westwood. I’m a baker myself and I Didn’t really need a pie, but they looked pretty good so I went ahead and bought a Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. I have to give credit where credit is due. This was one of the best pies I’ve ever eaten. The piecrust alone was amazing and that strawberry rhubarb filling was so delicious. He not only has sweet pies, but he has savory pies too. I look forward to going back and trying more, and so does my tummy.

First time trying Joe’s pie and WOW! The pumpkin praline pie was amazingly delicious, the best combo of pumpkin and pecan that we have ever had in a pie! We would love to return and try another flavor in the near future. The shop has really cute bird-themed decorations and display cases selling some interesting costume jewelry too.

I wandered in and was very impressed with the appearance of the shop as well as the friendliness of the owner. I had not planned to buy anything, but the pulled pork pie sounded perfect for lunch. When I arrived home, we devoured it, and we were so impressed that I telephoned Joe to let him know how much we had enjoyed it. We can't wait to try the other pies!

The owner and his wife are friendly and helpful. I’ve had all of the pot pies (except the sausage and pepper pie) and several of the dessert pies. All outstanding - quality ingredients, delicious crust, generously filled and delicious!
