This restaurant far exceeded my expectations! Excellent and professional service from start to finish. We were with a large group and the flow of the drinks and meals was seamless and uniform. Our waitress was so helpful and professional and had answers to everything we asked and was very attentive to drinks and checking back in for our party of 25-30 people. He had the mussels and the sauce on them had a spicy edge too them but not over the top spicy, just perfect. I had the pork ribeye steak cooked medium well with sweet potato and it was so good. The pork was cooked perfect and moist and the bed of potato was uniquely flavorful. He had the steak Diane and also was cooked to perfection and very moist. The atmosphere is very semi upscale - home like with a great view of the marsh and n

Joe’s Bar & Grill has a fantastic atmosphere and a cozy, welcoming environment that makes it easy to see why it’s so highly rated. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The rustic charm, comfortable seating, and inviting lighting created the perfect backdrop for what we hoped would be a great dining experience. The service was excellent — our server was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and clearly took pride in making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. That level of care is something you don’t find everywhere and really stood out. Unfortunately, the kitchen seemed to have an off night. While each plate was beautifully presented and arrived looking perfect, the execution fell short of expectations. We had a party of six, and only one dinner was prepare

We went here last night, October 18Th, we had high hopes since one of our party members and husband had been going there for 7+ years and never had a bad meal. There were six people in our party. Our server was great. The atmosphere was very good. They were very busy. I had unsweetened ice tea it was an 8 on a 1-10 scale . I ordered the aged 12 ounce ribeye. I ordered it medium rare when it arrived. It was medium to medium well, my lady ordered prime rib, rare it was perfect. It was the only meal that came thru correctly. 5/6 meals were wrong mine and Chris were medium well and they were ordered, medium rare.. His wife ordered medium, and it came rare , the last 2 in our party ordered medium rare and one was borderline raw , the other well done ,The portion of potatoes the steak came with

This place was very good. The service was outstanding. I’ll be honest, when the food came out I didn’t think it looked that great- but the taste was amazing. We had beef short ribs, shrimp and grits and bacon wrapped scallops. The shrimp and grits were ok, I’ve had better but it was still really good. I’d come back to try more menu items! The decor was really outdated but, again, service was great and food was good!

Service was exceptional. Staff was very friendly and met all needs promptly. The food, however, was just gross. We ordered the smoked salmon appetizer and it was just smoked salmon and cream cheese in a plate with crackers. Caesar salad is not actually Caesar, just a pungent vinaigrette. Shrimp and grits tasted like spaghettios. The prime rib was passable, but the potatoes were both burned and mushy and absolutely coated in parsley. Kids’ chicken tenders look ghostly white. Atmosphere is very 80s hunting lodge (so many taxidermy animals!) and just weird.
