I think the atmosphere is great. The food, not so much. The staff is amazing. The Ruben and Turkey wrap for sandwiches that are over 12 dollars each came with one slice of meat. It wasn’t great. I was told by friends to try something else. So I’ll do that one day.
They have bakery items, but the quality just isn’t there. The jam for the “homemade” biscuits was Smucker’s in plastic packets. The quiche crust tasted frozen, and the eggs were hard and spongy, like a boxed mix. They also gave me plastic utensils. The environment feels cold and dark, not cozy or inviting. It would be great if they improved the food quality, warmed up the ambiance, and supported families with a dedicated space for children.
Friendly staff, but the inside was kind of dirty. Unwiped tables, dirty floors, greasy counters. On top of that I spent over $30 on a sandwich, coffee, and scone. The coffee is mediocre at best mostly just tastes really watered down. The chicken salad sandwich was very mushy and the scone was genuinely inedible. I know scones can be hard to perfect, but this tasted like a handful of flour. Prices are decent but not worth it for what you get.
The food was indeed delicious and fresh. The portions were quite generous. I ordered the BLT sandwich, while my husband enjoyed the club sandwich. Furthermore, the staff was friendly and welcoming.
Absolutely a must visit café. The portions are huge. We were expecting to get a small biscuit and it was about the size of three biscuits. I got the avocado toast with a side of fresh fruit for nine dollars and let me tell you a lot of avocado toast. I didn't get a picture of everything, but all four of us enjoyed our breakfast. If we lived in this area, we would visit this place weekly.
