J&L Bar-B-Q and more

Got the ribs and they were bangin! The potato salad and baked beans were also delicious! 10/10

I’ve been driving by this spot for awhile now and I gotta admit that BBQ is my kryptonite. I’m pretty picky and I feel that not all bbq is created equal. One sunny day about two weeks ago I decided to pull over. Listen people, do NOT sleep on this place! Why I waited so long to stop, I do not know. I ordered the rib plate and it wasn’t your basic food. The ribs were tender, juicy and flavorful. The beans were yummy and not overwhelming. The potato salad was delish and just brought it all together. Everyone was welcoming and friendly like you just walked into a family bbq. It’s nice to have some great bbq in the NEP! Come through, you’re going to be glad that you did.

I just had the chicken wing basket. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I would have posted pictures but man that chicken smelled so good and is very TASTY. Reminds me of home. Can’t wait to taste the oxtail.

How should I say it! My Grand mama might be mad. But J&L Bar-B-cue is some real Southern Cooking! I ordered them Oxtails, rice, and vegetables. My grandma can't cook like that. Big giant Oxtails with that gravey over a nice bed rice. Man u missing out if don't go grab that plate. Well worth the price. It feels good to be a traveler and be able to get a great meal far away from home.

What an awesome local BBQ place! I ordered the Ribs and they were so good! The beans and potato salad also seemed to be made from scratch and tasted great. I was surprised at how large the portions were and how high quality the food was for such a reasonable price. I can't wait to walk back :)
