JK's House of Ribs

I’m tend to be a creature of habit and tend to frequent certain places. The place I wanted to go was closed . So off to Google I went. I saw this restaurant. I would’ve never known it was there. The staff were very friendly and had great personality. As far as the food I ordered the sampler platter. Which said 3 ribs, hash and rice plus pulled pork. It also had a roll green beans and Mac and Cheese. I wasn’t expecting the last items. Zero seasonings was needed. Which comes my next statement. I’d have to say this is perfect soul food I’m my opinion. I also opted for the fried okra. Everything was wonderful!

If you are looking for some good BBQ in Manning look no further! Definitely worth the drive if you are not a local. The bbq is mouthwatering; the sauce to mear combo is spot on and when on a sandwich it does not make the buns soggy and keeps the meat moist and delicious. The ribs are delicious, corn nuggets were on point, the fried okra was just like grandma's kitchen. If I had tonmake a guess, I'd venture to say everything else on the menu is just as good. We were greeted with a smile and polite service and the food came out hot and fresh without a long wait. Highly recommend!

Best Sweet Potato fries ever! More on that in a minute. Road trip from Baltimore to JAX . Hunting for a lunch stop. Found JK’s at the South Carolina rest stop in the SC BBQ Trail Map. #55. Done. Drive straight there. Gorge pork sampler, smoked chicken, pulled pork sandwich, fried okra, and the aforementioned sweet potato fries. Must try side. Our table judged them the best we’d ever had. Crispy, sweet and salty. BBQ sauce was tangy. Meat well cooked. Interior atmosphere down to earth and friendly and clean. Staff was friendly. Food arrived fast. Will definitely come again.

I was trying this spot for my second time and I would have to say that the food was OK, mostly very mid. Ribs had a lot of fat on them,some smoke flavor and a little dry.. Chicken had no smoke flavor, Mac and cheese noodles were mushy and over cooked,wings good,onion rings and waffle fries was spot on....

Place was clean neat. Service was with a beautiful 😃 smile. Food was very good. I would say that the only thing was the Mac N Cheese wasn't up to the temperature I like but it tasted good. Prices are to me reasonable. I have gone there several times and always got treated with a smile.. Keep up the good work.. Here's some pictures too..
