🍔 Food We ordered fried pickles, wings, and a pizza. The fried pickles and wings were both bowling-alley above average. The buffalo sauce had solid flavor, but the wings themselves were fine, nothing special. The pizza was the clear highlight. Wood-fired, very good, and honestly among the better pizzas I’ve had in New Hampshire. Can’t miss. 🍻 Drinks Full bar with a limited liquor selection, but a good beer list. Everything we had was cold and in good shape, with quality pours. 📺 Entertainment A couple TVs, TouchTunes, and the ability to request games. Enough going on to keep it lively without being overwhelming. 🪑 Atmosphere Somewhere between a dive bar and family dining. I loved it, but time of day probably matters here. Feels flexible depending on when you stop in. 🤝 Service Qual
This place is worth visiting! It is a rustic pub like atmosphere that is hopping! I found it loud inside, as it was packed! I had to really edit my photos for privacy. It is not a large space, so be prepared to be cozy. The pizza is the star here! Of course they serve other items, but for now we only had that. I’ll be returning 😊.
What a disappointment. JJ’s used to be quality wood fired pizza with great crust and ingredients. We don’t eat out often because the quality of most places is poor but didn’t want to cook so JJ’s sounded like a good pick. As others stated in their reviews, the crust was burnt around the edges and there were so few toppings I thought I ordered a cheese pizza! We got a chicken broccoli and chicken red onion, the chicken was deep fried which I didn’t know when ordering, but didn’t look breaded, just fried so the outside was a crisp, and there were barely any onions or broccoli on them. The sauce had a peculiar taste and the cheese was thick and chewy and got thick and tough as it cooled down. So disappointed, another crappy place to eat in town. How friggin hard is it to get quality food?!!
This has to be one of the best pizza’s in the area, the new owners are great and the service is on point but if you know what a legit wood fire pizza oven puts out for pizza, they got it. Definitely come down and give it a try, if you order nachos, be ready to feed the whole table
Large Pizza to go. First time here. The first third of the slice was perfect. Thin crust, tasty cheese and sauce. Best tasting pizza around really. That's why I gave 5/5. But then, the rest of the slice, the crust got very thick and the topping scanty. It was like eating bread. Good chewy bread, but bread nevertheless. We ended up eating only the middle third of the pizza. Good thing it was only 2 of us. Next time I'll try extra cheese extra sauce, that might help. If they could get the outer crust to be thinner, and add a little more sauce and cheese, they could win a contest.
