Little family-owned place. JJ is very nice and easy to work with. Easy to put in orders and pick up when you need to. Best large snow crab legs around. Freshest local oysters, scallops and shrimp. My go-to place for seafood boils. All at a reasonable price.

JJ’s is my go to seafood vendor in Richmond. Just a short way past Short Pump; it’s worth the drive. Their shrimp is from North Carolina and is 16 to 20 shrimp in a pound. Headless and deveined. The crab cakes are delicious. JJ’s has a good selection of hot sauces and other condiments.

Haven't had everything...but the scallops, especially, are first class. Real, good sized, and fresh. Just went in to stock back up on some Hank's sauces, and two big bags of bacon-wrapped scallops. If you’re like me you’ve driven past this place a thousand times. Just stop in. If you don’t like it move on lol. When I go to Nags Head I stop at Whalebone Seafood, a mom and pop store on the corner …when I’m home I come here. They only sell what’s good.

Great seafood store. They specialize in l”LOCAL seafood from Virginia fishermen, supporting LOCAL people. They have a very good variety of seafood freshly caught, ready to combine with your herbs and spices for the best seafood you’ve had. If you don’t have any, they have a good selection in their store, conveniently located in Manakin Sabot, 15 minutes west of Short Pump.

I went in to get flounder and came out with crabs & flounder. We ate the crabs last night and they were heavy and full. As always the flounder will be great tonight.
